Driftwood Delights Workshop at The Fibre Lounge in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.


Saturday 2nd June 2018, 2-4pm.


"In this open and experimental workshop you will have the option of creating a variety of artworks and jewellery using a combination of found, purchased and up-cycled media. You will have access to a multitude of materials, including driftwood, shells, sea glass and ceramics, washed up corks, vibrantly coloured plastic tubing, lacing, wire, embroidery thread, thin ribbon, lace pins and small nails. Ella will show you techniques of drilling, hammering, stitching and wrapping to create beautiful decorative objects such as name signs, door numbers and unique necklaces. Please bring along your own found and recycled finds and treasures to incorporate if you wish."

Transport: Kings Langley is a 27 minute train ride from London Euston. The Fibre Lounge is then a 20 minute walk, or 3 minute taxi ride, from the station.
