Death by Jumbrella

This collection of five complimentary poles was originally created for Art in the Garden 2011 at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey, Hampshire. They have since been selected for the East Sussex Open at the Towner in Eastbourne (2014) and were exhibited within Colour Coded, at Western Park Museum in Sheffield (2013/14). Each pole stands two metres tall.

The Higgledy-Piggledy Trees

The conclusions of a six month project in collaboration with Bow Arts Education and three Primary schools on the Isle of Dogs, London (2015). The design of the trees was taken from the shapes and patterns generated by the children in the workshops. The sustainable timber blocks were prepared by Ella and then painted with vibrant colours by the 3-5 year olds at each respective school.
